Reflexology

Reflexology is an alternative medicine involving the physical act of applying pressure to the feet, hands, or ears with specific thumb, finger, and hand techniques without the use of oil or lotion. It is based on a system of zones and reflex areas that they say reflect an image of the body on the feet and hands, with the premise that such work effects a physical change to the body.

Tui Na

Tui Na (Chinese: 推拏 or 推拿; pinyin: tuī ná) is a form of Chinese manipulative therapy. The practitioner may brush, knead, roll/press, and rub the areas between each of the joints to attempt to open the body’s defensive (wei) chi and get the energy moving in the meridians and the muscles. The practitioner can then use range of motion, traction, and massage, with the stimulation of acupressure points.
